Currently the new work of choreographer Oona Doherty is touring europe, and i had the chance to photograph the 12 dancers of Navy Blue. A flickering preview of the particular shot moment each staged for my camera. bang!  More soon.

The full Lothringer13 booklet box

Documenting 6 years of the program at Lothringer13 Halle Munich, 2014-2020, during a period where i was artistic director and curator, i also documented the exhibitions and events. The now published box gathers in total 16 original or re-edited/translated exhibition booklets and two new extra ones for an overview. The homepage will still be online, but its a good feeling to have this edition of printed documentation about these enriching years. 
The box is now available in a 
very small edition, email me if you are interested.
It is very affordable and has over 600 pages!

Koopmann´s second monograph explores the critical and humane conditions existing between the poles of protest and routine in a globalized landscape. Photographs  document hastily improvised crowd control barricades and security reinforcements, frumpy camouflage draped over doorways and stairwells, sullen protestors and armored troops at glogab summits. Shot between 2001 and 2009, Born in Brennen features photographic essays shot across the globe, punctuated by conversation, fragments and correspondance with a number of contemporaries…
