The artist Karsten Neumann is widely known as the founder of Bethang, the city utopia of shaping Nürnberg, Fürth and Erlangen into a major German city, a city of culture and spirit.
My triptychons are a playful hommage to Neumann’s concept and to Peter Piller’s wonderful book Von Erde Schöner.
During a residency i was hunting two weeks on local car-numberplates, creating two sets that are unpublished so far. Intended to appear on a 18/1 trio in Bethang one day...
